‘3 Frames’ consists of 3 frames taken from a 16mm film leader which are looped and developed into this exploration of visual rhythm through movement of the repetition and layering of the 3 frames. The audio heightens this by using a 3 second sound loop of a tape machine that each time it loops plays on top of itself creating a layered process that builds imperceptibly over the duration of the piece.
