Casher Courage is the first video performance of a series of three, filmed in a public or economically recalled private space. With the help of a cinema crew, I installed a dilemma in a day-to-day experience in which we can see, on different levels, how it is possible to add cultural discursive action over chosen “normal” situations. Casher Courage is the first piece that employs this tactical type of fiction. Together involving non-actors and referring to works of “high art” in popular culture, it also strongly involves a metaphoric reminiscence of Brecht’s work. The experience provokes ethical indents, associated with an esthetical discomfort.
