A stop-motion film that sees the world through the eyes of my 9 year old autistic son. There are several fantasy scenes involving objects that fascinate him such as miniature chairs and licorice. Some of the scenes may seem disturbing but are actually based on the sensory diet, exercises that help autistic individuals deal with sensory overload.
Perhaps the hyperawareness that autistics feel for the tangible world is an alternative route to joy. We all have the capacity to do the Happy Dance.
