Eurodac Is a supranational cybernetic network, an EU-wide database using the Automated Fingerprint Identification System. Eurodac contains digital fingerprints of every person over the age of 14 who claims asylum in the EU. It’s one of most brutal EU systems that control the movement of refugees. In this work I examine what refugees do to avoid Eurodac: defacing, abrading, slicing, and burning their fingertips.
